In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fill In the Blank.”
Actually, it wasn’t a bar, it was a Starbucks. Three people walked into a Starbucks and ordered their Starbucks beverage of choice, there are MANY to choose from. And they drank their drinks, and they laughed and made memories with one another, as well as the other patrons. They did this for hours upon hours. They shared laughs and love and compassion. No one was judged because they didn’t say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays or Happy Hannukah. They just laughed and loved like the world is supposed to be. They didn’t get worked up by big things. They didn’t get worked up by small, petty things. They just created relationships and showed love to one another. Is that too much to ask in today’s world?
