Another dreary day here in West-Central Minnesota. It is 11:36 a.m. as I type these words, now 11:37 a.m. And yet, even through the dreary, overcast weather which has provided even more rain last night, the birds still sing and the squirrels and rabbits still frolick in the yards.
I just read a fellow blogger’s post about unplugging during a cross state walk with her son. No, it wasn’t here in Minnesota, they are somewhere out East.
Anyway, it got me thinking about how with the recent events here in Minnesota, I am positive unless you have not had any media influence what-so-ever you know what I am talking about. We need to unplug from the negativity. We need to shine! We need to be brilliant lights, like the porch lights we left on for Jacob.
All I have seen is people wanting vengeance. I have seen people asking for the confessed murderer’s rape and murder! Why are we throwing stones, people??!
A sure fire way to get a twinkle to die is to cast a bunch of dirt on it! Even though it is now 12:29 p.m. (yeah, I had some errands to run!) I want us all to think about how we are called to be a light in the world.
