A World Gone Flat With Flattery.

We have slid so far down a slippery slope, I don’t know if we can climb this mountain again. We have become a world where sticks and stones don’t hurt, but words do.

If you aren’t paying someone a compliment, no matter how insincere it may be, you are in the wrong. Even if what you say has been witnessed by a thousand people and is known as truth, if it is bad, or negative feedback, you can’t say it anymore!

We used to live in a world thought to be flat. If you sailed off the edge, you would fall into the abyss of the Universe. We learned that was false. People dared to do great, unbelievable things! And sometimes they failed and sometimes they succeeded. We now live in a world that only wants to see success! And they will bend the rules to see that everyone achieves their own version of success. We have become afraid of failure!!

If you aren’t flattering someone or something you are wrong. That is the notion being sold all over today. It’s sickening!! Don’t be afraid to try and don’t be afraid to fail. Flattery is not the truth, only what you want to hear. Well, you won’t find that here!

Flattery is typically built on a mound of lies and that can lead to a tangled web of deceitful trouble. So, can we stop with the pleasantries and move into reality?
