Speaking Of Faded…

I see it more and more and now our commercials are praising it!! Common sense, the notion of what is right and wrong has totally and completely faded from our reality and This Commercial proves it!!!

Seriously?? You want to use two kids asking about a break-in to sell oranges???!! Nope! Won’t get money from me!!! Bad idea! We need to step up and not be faded into the background of our world any longer as good and bad become so faded that there is no clear line. I am ashamed of this commercial!!

Drawn Together As One.

I was looking for a YouTube video to incorporate into my posts for today’s Daily Post Word Fade. And I was able to find a song from Suicide Squad!!! I love it when my interests come together and I can share this with all of you!!

It’s awesome when two can fade into one and become a stronger team. I feel that way with my wife. We make it work. We communicate through. Sometimes we don’t, but that’s usually because we need to think it through on our own first. I have noticed in the almost 5 years of our relationship nothing has faded, it has grown stronger and brighter!! And this song has inspired me to share that with you.

If you feel your relationship has faded, see it through. Bring new light and life into it. Communicate. Discuss. Argue. But most of all, love and respect one another. Do that and nothing will fade away.

Christmas Faded.

When we were kids the magic of Christmas was alive and well. Santa Claus came to our little town on a big red fire truck. We never questioned why he didn’t have his sleigh.

As years move on, our belief faded away. Why? Why do we allow that to happen? Miracles exist! Things in this world happen we can’t explain. And yet, our imagination faded.

I would love to see a Christmas season where Faith and belief come alive again. We need to bring back the joy and amazement we had as children. Bring it back into the light from the faded background of the shadows.

We need to bring so many things back that have faded away, but during this beginning of the Christmas season, I want to bring back Faith, Hope, Joy, Love, Family, Togetherness. I have the awesome honor of spending this Christmas with my in-laws!! My father-in-law has Alzheimer’s so many of his memories have faded. I want to help bring some of them back this year. My mother-in-law has recommended me to be the pastor at the nursing home Christmas Eve service. I can’t even tell you the honor this Christmas season will hold for me being able to speak to a room of people who are in their sunset years. As the sun fades in their skies, I hope to bring back those moments when they were children and the sunrise couldn’t come fast enough to see the miracles left for them those mornings so long ago.

I want to encourage you all today to not let your family traditions and memories fade this season. Be together. Relationships is why we were created and our families are meant to be our closest. I implore you to help your family and the families of those closest to you to not fade away. Bring to mind the memories of Chrismases past.

As Life Fades…

As life moves on, things can fade away. Memories, possessions, loved ones, all of these can fade away. And for some they do.

The key to having a fulfilling life is to remember, even when everything fades away, we still have a purpose! And we must find it! When we do, we will become the richest human being ever to have walked the earth! We all can be truly rich when we find our purpose, like Colonel Sanders!!! Check out this video and never let your inspiration fade.

Memories Faded.

I have now been alive for 40 years, 9 months and 4 days. In all that time, I have many memories that have faded. I have many memories that have stuck with me like sand on my skin at the beach too. Maybe that is a bad analogy, I don’t mean that the memories that have stuck are painful. Although, some are.

I have many great memories, but time often fades away the details. For example, I can remember my sister’s 12th birthday. It is in January. There is always snow on the ground and on her 12th Birthday she took time away to pull me on this little black sled with a steering wheel. It was shaped like the batmobile, or something along those lines.

The rest of that day has faded, but I still remember that. Same sister during Christmas of 2010, we were in Boise, Idaho as a family. I was going through a terrible rough patch in my life and she took me to the only place in Boise, Idaho that had a possibility of karaoke. I had to laugh when we got there because the place had one, single person in it. The man reminded me of a Motown singer, I think he may have actually been one. And he was singing Motown songs. We asked him if I could do some karaoke and he had me sing my sister a love song. He thought we were a couple! We laughed about that! It was a fun night!

We all have memories that we will remember forever and we all have memories that will slip through our brains like the sands of time. It’s life. My wife and I are watching her father fade away due to Alzheimer’s. We walk in Willmar, Minnesota and raise money every year. Everyone deserves to remember, we say.

I have many memories. Some good, some bad. That’s just how it goes. But as time and memory fades away, I know nothing fades away forever. Eternity holds our home and that will never fade away.

Communication With God.

Taking inspiration from an obsession with lists, we challenge you to create in sets of threes

When I think of writing in 3’s at 3:23a.m. (To my editor, yes, I am fully aware I should be asleep, but insomnia plagues me!!) the first thought of 3 that comes to mind for me is The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God the Father always was, as was and is The Son. Although we don’t see The Son, Jesus Christ, in the flesh in the moment, we do feel His presence in The Holy Spirit. The blessing of The Holy Spirit is He is not in a box as far as space or time. He can be felt by anyone, anywhere, at any time.

That premonition that you should go right instead of left? God’s whisper. You can thank The Holy Trinity for that. Most people are confused by The Holy Trinity. It is not an easy thing to understand. God always was. His ways are perfect. We screwed that up with our free will. Human beings always only think of self. Self preservation, self accolades, self promotion. I am guilty of it too. It’s who we are.

So, God had to send a way for us to be with Him. He is perfect. He is Holy. To be United with Him we needed someone to cover our faults. Enter Jesus Christ. Now, He always was and always will be too, but He was only on this Earthly plane for approximately 33 years (give or take). He was sent to Earth by God. Then called back after ‘It was finished.’ But He’s coming again. He goes between Heaven and Earth for us. He went between Earth and Hell for us and beat that, so no worries there.

The final part of the trinity is The Holy Spirit that remains within and around each and every one of us after The Ascension of Jesus Christ. We can no longer see His physical body, but we know He is still here through His Holy Spirit. If you pay attention you can see it every where. The sunset, the trees, the grass, every human being on Earth exhibits Jesus Christ in some way.

The Holy Trinity is always with us. We just need to pay attention and answer the other side of the communication.

One World Many Problems.

Why do we feel like we always need to keep our troubles out of online conversations? If you are having a rough time, I think it’s healthy to talk about it. Maybe your loved ones can help you, or at the very least see things from another point of view.

I have no idea why this entered my head just now, but I wanted to share it in the case that someone may be going through something and questioning whether they should say something or keep it inside. When we allow things to build up pressure, they explode! So feel free to vent. At least to me. Anyone, anywhere. What are you experiencing today?
