As I Wait.

As I wait on my wife to help get the kids from church ready for our church program tonight, I am sitting in a warm car. The snow is softly dancing to the ground as though this was some real life Thomas Kinkade painting of years past. My heart is filled with joy as Christmas tunes play on the radio.

I think our world needs to do this sort of thing more often. We need to simply wait. We need to silently observe our surroundings. Sure, it is true, I am listening to soft Christmas music favorites, but the sound of the music only enhances my experience of peace.

What enhances your peace? Can you find it right now, in this moment? I urge you to try. Our world wants you to spin out of control so it can take control of you. When those moments happen, recognize them and combat them with a peace that only your spirit knows.
