The other thought that keeps comin back to me today, a faint whisper really, is talk about the uninvited. I don’t know about anyone else, but I know how it feels. It is not a good feeling to not get an invitation to something you feel would be so fun. It has its you in a place of feeling unwanted.
People do this all the time. We often feel people are unworthy. They don’t fit into our group of what we feel should be invited to a party. We are shallow people when we do this. Everyone of us was created in the image of God. That fact alone makes us all equal. We were all created by someone greater than all of us. So, no one is better off than anyone else.
We need to realize we are on an even playing field and we are all invited to the banquet. Maybe in this life you have not been invited to every party. I have been there. I was even kicked out of a roller skating rink party once because, being in a wheelchair, I was concidered to be an accident waiting to happen. Oh well. It happens.
You are cordially invited to the banquet in Heaven!!!
You don’t have to worry about not being invited any longer. When you are not invited, it means something better is coming along. Stay the course and stay the wonderfully created you as God meant you to be.
