#YOLO?! OH NO!!

As I was getting ready for bed this evening the thought hit me, What if every thought, word and deed I had ever thought, said or did was broadcast to every single human being on the planet? I would have a lot to answer for, wouldn’t I?

So, as a Christian, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe in the virgin birth. I believe He walked the Earth. I believe He did many miracles. I believe He said He is the Son Of God. I believe He was crucified. I believe He was truly dead. I believe He went to Hell and cleared it out. And finally, I believe He rose from the dead and is coming back and His Father, God, will have the final say in all of my words, deeds and thoughts. I also believe that Jesus Christ will stand for me and say, He’s clean. He did well. Yes, he sinned, but I’ve cleared that all up with my death and resurrection. Case Dismissed!

But, still, what if every thing I have ever done or thought or said was broadcast to everyone in the world? I’d still feel pretty bad. So, if I keep that in mind, with the help of The Holy Spirit (Jesus) I should be able to change all my thoughts, words and deeds, right? Seems simple enough. But, it only works when I am fully concentrated on Jesus and what He did for me on the cross.

We are coming up to Easter soon. And I know there are a lot of people who still don’t know Jesus. I know there are a lot of people who don’t believe in Jesus because they see people who say they are Christians not acting like it. Isn’t it time we stood up and let Jesus have full control and make the change we need to bring people to Him? After all, the saving of souls does not happen by us. It happens only through Jesus Christ. If we would only allow Him to make the change in us that we want to see in the world, a whole world would finally believe and get to know Him.

You Only Live Once? Oh no! There is an Eternity after this life. And we need to decide where we spend it. Tomorrow may be too late.
