If you are ever in the area, you gotta come check us out!! Another perk is our refillable containers for popcorn!!!
I honestly have nothing to say about today’s Daily Post Word Snack. A small meal eaten between full meals. I think, if we were to eat properly and keep ourselves fueled properly, all we would do is snack. But, it can’t be processed, or chocolate covered, full of sugar and preservatives. The human body was created to use fuel from food.
We don’t necessarily need to fill our tank with a full meal. However, I do it all the time! I am a carnivor. I eat meat. You put cooked meat with a decent aroma in front of me, I’ll more than likely devour it!!
Sadly, I eat the processed meats too. I am a fan of hot dogs. I am eating one right now with some cheetos as I write this. Sad and bad, I know. It goes against everything I am trying to accomplish. And making results, I am!
I woke up this morning (yes, it was actually 10am this morning) I had to throw that in for my editor. And realized I must be doing something right because the weight number is not going down, but my shape is changing for the better. Water. Water has been the key! Yesterday I had 80 ounces! Yes, I did cheat with a 16.9 ounce Coca-Cola after my wife went to bed. But, I cannot deny the results are changing!
So, snack. But snack the good stuff! Real. Grown. Foods. Provided by nature. Not made in a laboratory. That’s the good stuff. And fuel up regularly. It’s not good to run on an empty tank.
We all have this moment. If you are reading these words, or if you know someone who should be, or could be, you have this moment!! What do you want to do with it?
What is your passion? What do you want to accomplish? At this moment, are you doing something toward that? Is this post resonating with you to get you to act on that?! Then it is all worth it!
The time is now. Your dream is achievable!! But, you must begin working toward it.
Here Is some inspiration.
I have been here before. That moment when The Butterfly effect comes back into my view. A flutter of a single butterfly’s wings can cause a typhoon on the other side of the globe.
Yesterday I was 20 minutes late for work. And it was five or so tiny events that lead to it. I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock a couple times. My wife got into the shower before I did. I spent some time checking my prayer requests from the night before. I posted a couple mind benders on Facebook. I took extra time getting ready.
All of these events lead to me being 20 minutes late. And it all started with the decision to stay up for ‘Just one more episode!’ The binge watching of television has begun to decay our society. We no longer talk to one another, we text. We no longer go and hang out with our friends because we are afraid we will miss our favorite episode. When we are out with our friends, our heads are glued to our screens.
One move was all it took. Social Networks. MySpace. Facebook. Twitter. INSTAGRAM!! That one is right there in the title!! Instant gratification! I need this now! I need this fix! Internet is a drug and our phones have become our dealers. One event can change the course of the world!
You know we have a problem. What will your next move be? Will we circle back around to deja vu, or can we move forward?
It is said that opposites attract. Does that mean that a super couple of two, like-minded people in their career cannot find a way to make it work? Will one always over power the other?
Carlos Santana once said, ‘your mind is a magnet. You don’t attract what you want or what you need; you attract who you are.’
Our minds truly are magnets that attract what we think. If you think negative things will happen, negative things will happen. If you think positive things will happen, positive things will happen. Where is your mind today?
I woke up in a negative mind frame this morning. And that is bad because today is my four year anniversary. Not very attractive to say happy anniversary to your husband when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed! So, I went to work, had some worship time with a local Christian radio station and turned my mood around. I have been attracting positivity ever since!
How is your day going? If you need more positivity, just think more positively. Yes, it is that easy!!
