My wife and I have a personal connection to Alzheimer’s disease. Her father, my father-in-law is in the final stages of it. So, we are kinda hardcore about raising money for the research to end this disease.
Tonight I spent $60 on lemonade, cups and a 5 gallon liquid dispenser. Why? Because tomorrow at 9a.m. I will be going to one of our local Casey’s General Stores here in Montevideo, Minnesota to sell lemonade to anyone who wants a cup for $1. All proceeds will be going to benefit Alzheimer’s research. I hope from the outpouring of support I have currently received from our local community that this will provide a large fund to bring with us on our Walk To End Alzheimer’s in Willmar, Minnesota at the end of September!
Casey’s has been gracious enough to allow me to do this two more times before the walk in September too! I have a personal goal of $3,000 raised by the day of the walk. My site for raising says only $2,000, but I figured why not show true grit and swing for the fences.
If you wish to help– This Is How!!!!!!
Click the link and it will take you to my personal fundraising page for our walk in September in Willmar, Minnesota. Please help. Every dollar raised is used to find the cure. There are staffing needs and medical needs, caretaker needs etc. Here Is The Link Once More!!!
help Me Out as often as you can. Let’s spread this around the world. There is no reason I can’t achieve my goal of $3,000 or even more if this goes around the blogosphere!!!
