It has been said life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it. Charles Swindoll is given the credit with that quote and I truly admire it.
I have been through more than 40 surgical procedures. I was born with Spina Bifida. I have been divorced once. I have lost friends and loved ones along the way. I have lost jobs I thought would be careers. And all of that has brought me to where I am. I am on a blessed road now. I have a wife who loves me. I have a job, multiple actually, and I love them. I have food on my table, a roof over my head.
But there is still something missing. The rest of the world doesn’t have the peace that I have. Often times, I see people react to a situation without thinking it through. Lord knows, I used to be guilty of this too! I probably still am on occasion if I am being honest.
Life gets spicy and dicey! It can hurt. It can burn. But, as I stated earlier from the great Charles Swindoll, ‘Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.’ What Spicy scenarios are you going through?
Maybe This song will be some inspiration to relook at your situation. Colors of the world, spice up your life, every boy and every girl, spice up your life!! To me, that means make a difference for others! Help each other. Together we can make this life work for everybody. But you need the attitude to start. Live spicy and take it all in. And then share it with everyone you can! Your positivity can become an infection that will help the entire world.
