Not My Strong Suit!!!

I used to be a poet, but at the time I didn’t know it. Left unpracticed and unused, this skill has become a silent muse.

I just got done with a hard day at work. Today was a day that drove me berserk!

Work through the pain, and toil in the service. I don’t know when it started, but some people now make me nervous.

I want this and I need that, has become the battle motto.  But the indescency of some people make me want to get back in my auto!

As I write this poem in the driveway of my home. I hear coyotes and crickets, I know I am not alone.

One thing is for certain, I don’t hear any ducks. Okay, two things tonight are certain, this poem truly sucks! 😂😂😂😂

In all honesty and unashamed truth. There is one certainty I have known since my youth.

Jesus Christ loves you and me more than we can ever know. And it is His Grace and His Love in this world we all must know.

A friend came in to work today and handed out his card. Charge these supplies to this card I’m sending them to Texas. They need our help and they need our love, because Harvey created messes!!

My faith in humans now restored, I hope that all will know Jesus has their reward. So give Him your heart and give him your life. I know, it’s hard, it won’t take away the strife.

There are battles won and battles lost all within our world. The evil deeds of so many try to make our world unfurled. Come apart at the seems, they may try. But Christ will bring us back together, I pray before we die.

You see, your final breath once taken it all becomes too late. To know Your Father In Heaven has made you a divine plate! With deeds to do and people to cheer. That, my friends, is why we are here!

This poem has now taken a different turn. My Friend, Jesus The Savior I need you to learn.

It took all of 20 minutes of my precious time to break out my words from God and create this crazy rhyme! The Daily Post Word has now been used, so I guess I can wrap this up and hope you’ve been amused!
